Memories of snorkeling coral reefs and seeing lobsters on the move or hiding beneath coral ledges were the inspiration for this piece. Measuring approximately 6" x 3", more than 140 pieces of white swirl glass were carefully cut, arranged, and fused to flats then back to the kiln to get their unique shapes. The 1.75” lamp-worked glass lobster appears to be crawling through an opening in the coral branches.

As with all handcrafted fused glass pieces, both organic and artistic imperfections add to the uniqueness of each piece.
