Teal Freeform Fused Glass Sculpture, Glass Art, Candle Holder

Measuring approximately 4” x 4.25”, this beautiful transparent teal glass sculpture consists of 2 layers of transparent teal glass that were carefully cut, arranged, and fused to a flat and then back to the kiln to get its unique shape. As the glass melted, gravity played a big role in forming the gentle curves and gaps. The foot or base is made of 2 layers of glass. This piece is truly one-of-a-kind.

This project includes glass cutting, coldworking, fusing, and assembly. We fuse our pieces with a slow annealing process to reduce stress and increase strength and durability.

As with all handcrafted fused glass pieces, both organic and artistic imperfections add to the uniqueness of each piece.
