Whether you are entertaining family or friends, our contemporary glass cheese-serving plate will make an attractive addition to your table.
Measuring approximately 9" x 6", the cheese board consists of three layers of glass. Glass used is mariner blue and French vanilla with a sprinkling of sky blue, mariner blue, and French vanilla glass frit. Small acrylic pads are on the back to keep the board from sliding while protecting your furniture.
I made the frit from sky blue, French vanilla, mariner blue, and white to create the cascade. Where the mariner blue touches the French vanilla, there is a reaction (sulfur and copper) that makes the shadows and outlines.
As with all handcrafted fused glass pieces, both organic and artistic imperfections add to the uniqueness of each piece. This cascading reactive cheese board is truly one-of-a-kind.
The cheese spreader is made of premium food-grade stainless steel. It is one piece, without seams, solid and perfect for handling any type of cheese. The cheese spreader measures 5.3 inches long and is dishwasher safe.
The cheese board is food safe and should not be used in the microwave or dishwasher. We recommend hand washing then drying with a clean, lint-free towel to eliminate water spots.
All of our glass pieces are carefully packaged and labeled for shipment and safe arrival. Shipping within the Continental United States is included. (Buyers from Alaska and Hawaii should contact us for a shipping quote before placing an order.) The cheese board will ship via USPS Priority Mail,
